Key Stage Two computing

Here is Key Stage Two we have been writing our own algorithms. Algorithms are precise sequences of instructions for performing a task.

Leave a comment below. What did you think of Key Stage Two's games? What was your highest score?

Year 4 Espresso Coding

This week Year Three produced games in which you can control the sprite's direction using different keys. Year Four put variables into their games, which keep a track of the player's score.

Through Maze

Dog Food Two

Digger Chase

Year 5 & 6 Coding on Scratch 2.

Year 5 and 6 were given the task of controlling a sprite's movement through the use of the arrow keys.
These are works in progress. What could we add to them to make them more interactive and purposeful?

Hannah, Tilly and Isaac

Use the arrow buttons to move the bat.

Robbie and Harry

Use the arrow keys to move the bat, and press v for a surprise!

Your interactive drawing pads show great imagination. Well done

Thank you Mrs Wilkinson. Year 5 and 6 have worked really hard to create these complex algorithms. Whatever will they do next!?

I think there all brilliant!

Hannah,Tilly,Isaac i thinks yours it great but maybe you could make the palm trees move and put some music on it

That would be really entertaining, Libby. I wonder if anyone could work out how to make the algorithms necessary?
