What a wonderful poetry day!

Date: 21st Jun 2016 @ 4:19pm

Children of Tatham Fells, thank you so much for a fantastic day in school!

Today we were joined by Ian Bland, and we have had a brilliant time. Ian is a poet, and today he helped us think about how to write and perform our own poems. Have a look at the pictures below, and why not leave a comment? Maybe you've written your own poem at home, or you'd like to share one of your highlights of the day.

A big TFS Thank You to Ian for a great day together.

Wow! Today has been non-stop. Thank you, Team TFS, for your amazing effort.
What are your favourite memories of the day?

Key Stage Two wrote:

Tuesday morning, what could it be?
The whole school’s doing the Dinner Lady Boogie.
Telling poems about the staff,
They fall off chairs, the children laugh.

Mrs Lumb is getting stern,
Let’s just hope it’s not your turn!
Mrs Denby gave Ian the shoulder,
He’ll have to look for someone older.

What a day was had by all,
Everyone had such a ball.
Thank you Ian for so much fun,
And all our poems in the sun.
