A Roman Invasion

Class: Key Stage 2 Year: 2019 - 2020

Tatham Fells School have been invaded by the Romans! As the end of our Roman topic approaches, the children celebrated their learning with a Roman day. We have had great fun dressing as romans, playing Roman games, planning for battle and even enjoyed a Roman banquet!

The children made their own hobby horse, which we raced this morning. These will be on display this Friday 18th October 2019 during our Art exhibition at 2.45pm.

We have had some amazing shields, javelins, swords and helmets made as part of our homework as well.

A huge thank you to all the parents for providing the children with such amazing costumes. A fabulous day had by all. A great way to end the half term and all the hard work you have done since September Key Stage Two. We are very proud of you.
