Why Choose us?
Tatham Fells Primary School is a rural primary school in an idyllic location. Our classrooms are light and airy with plenty of access to expansive outdoor areas. We have 3 classes with a maximum of 8 pupils in each year group. The school also has a 6 place Nursery Unit within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The school was built in 1961 and is in excellent condition, it is an inspirational setting in which to learn!
The school has an onsite forest school (opening Spring 2023), polytunnel and garden area. In addition, there is a large school field, playground, activity trail and running track for the children to enjoy. The views from all classrooms are fabulous and provide an inspirational outlook for art work, nature diaries, science and creative writing.
When a child begins their education at Tatham Fells, they will usually begin in our Nursery before moving into Reception.
The fundamental aim of the school is to ensure all our pupils are given the skills to learn effectively throughout their lives. When they leave school, pupils are always well prepared for the next stage of their education. We have high expectations and our children are complimented on their exceptional manners and behaviour wherever they go.
